This shade is really, really richly saturated and is a true purple that leans maybe just a hint more towards blue than red - but still, really, really balanced and true amethyst purple. In the bottle, this is definitely the most brilliant and bold shade in this collection and I really think it's beautiful, even though this sort of pink isn't generally my thing. Actually, now that I think about it, I think it's the addition of that rose gold flash that really brings both of these shades to life in a way that is different from the rest of the collection. 
Since this is a lighter color, you can see the holo flare a bit easier in lower light. Proud Feminist. They definitely release a lot of collections in a year, so I understand it can feel a little overwhelming, but Ive been enjoying the different themes and finishes theyve been coming out with. Photos that show how the product actually performs! I honestly feel like a broken record at this point, but these polishes are just really consistent when it comes to the formula.

It doesn't have quite full coverage on that first coat, so you'll definitely need a second to get full opacity as well as the intensity and richness that you're going to want from this shade. halo Application of this polish is really amazing, with even, smooth coverage and a formula that dries down quite quickly and easily. Yes, really. Trysh. The holo in this gives it more of a scattered, sparkly look. The halo Jewels collection consists of six linear holographic polishes and is the newest addition to the beloved Halo Hues. Honestly, in terms of gemstones, I couldn't really place where this sort of raisin-y mauve shade would fall for me, so I did a little bit of googling and what I found was - mauve spinel, which I think is a pretty solid match for this shade. I really, really, really think that they hit the nail on the head with the sapphire shade in this collection, especially because I think it's hard to do, and since it's my birthstone I have a special place for sapphire in my heart.

Obviously with all of these shades, the holo effect will be more apparent in my brighter lights, but I will say theyre beautiful shades even in normal lighting. Color Club usually does amazing holographic formulas, and this entire collection is no exception! The formula is the same as the older Halo Hues. Im wearing this as a full manicure, and in normal lighting it does pull more purple as well. thank you! So, of course, as soon as I saw the brand spankin' Halo Jewels Collection for Fall 2020, I was intrigued, but once I saw the rich, holographic shades in person there was absolutely no question that it was coming home with me and I was getting it on my nails immediately. I honestly can't wait to use this in Christmas nail art, because I feel like it's going to be a great base for festive manis. That second coat really does build up that richness and give you that density of colour that really makes the holo pop. 
Alright enough about savings, lets get into the swatches! 
Last up we have Under Pressure, a cool toned purple holographic. Youve got every major color of the rainbow in a holographic-polish format: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Amazing photos and commentary! Similar to the other dark holo's in this collection, it is very pigmented and would need direct light to see the full color. 
The polish actually looks dark grey in the bottle and in indirect light. Anyone is welcome to participate! Item received as described. And thats the collection! In the flash photo, more of that olive green really pops more, especially on the sides of the nails, and it can even look silver in spots as well. Honestly, couldn't be happier that I picked up this collection and will absolutely be reaching for it often, especially with winter coming up since I think all of these shades will really work well for fall and through the winter months. This had a smooth 1st coat. Unbreakable is an orange holographic shade with a lilac shift to it. realpolishfanatic When I was making my notes as I was swatching, I called this a sort of sage green. It's really interesting to me and I think it was actually a really smart curation choice that sets this collection apart. I did include a photo with flash for all of the shades, and this will give you a little more of an idea of the effect in the sunlight. Its kind of mauve, kind of grey-ish and in some light it has hint of gold/green. Really, really loves turtles. jewels realpolishfanatic . On the first coat, this has pretty good coverage but still has a bit of sheerness to it. Love the color. 
(LogOut/ Of all of the polishes in this collection, this one actually looked the closest in the bottle to another Color Club Holo, which is Eternal Beauty, but it's actually really solidly different. Now, I dont like to pay full price for polish when I dont have to (that definitely helps me buy so many), and I always say for Color Club you rarely have to do that. I also don't post "guest content." This shade was one of my favorites just for the super interesting color! The color deepens up with a 2nd and its fully opaque with just 2 easy coats. I would say the undertone for this is probably a little bit cooler and more blue based, but the holo and that smokiness keeps it feeling quite neutral. I think it would have been really easy to go deeper with this shade, which still would have kept it sapphire but would have lost some of that brilliance. hues The second wave - with Beyond, Miss Bliss, Cosmic Fate, Eternal Beauty - was the exception rather than the rule for the Halo Hues polishes. Rock On can almost look like a black holographic shade at first, but its actually a deep green with some smokey gray undertones to it.

jewels I picked these up during a 50% off sale, so I paid $6 each. Obviously as a huge fan of green polish, this one really, really appeals to me, but I think that this is actually just a really wearable green overall that a lot of people will love. I also really like the brush that Color Club polishes has, which is a wide (but not too wide) flat brush that really forms nicely at the cuticle to give a crisp, smooth line, which really adds to the ease of application of these polishes for me. realpolishfanatic Color club never fails to deliver when it comes to cool special effects! 
This polish gives me Paris Hilton vibes, which might have a little to do with the name. This is another shade where you could absolutely get away with one coat for coverage, but I definitely recommend two to really get that richness and depth. The gemstone connection with this shade is pretty obvious, I think, in that it's straight up Amethyst. Overall, I'm very happy with this collection. Today were looking at the Halo Jewels collection. If youre looking for super holographic shades, What a Gem is definitely more subtle compared to the others so it might not be a favorite.
