The vitamin C mask, while including gentle silica beads to provide manual exfoliation, also contains a high amount of baking soda (theres more baking soda than silica beads), which is a harsher scrub material. This was the first time I've tried a aha product so I was really excited to see the results. The only reason I didn't give it 5-Stars is because it did make my skin pretty pink afterwards and it did also sting a bit, so it's not the best product to use right before a big event if you have sensitive skin.
